This project is a total gut renovation of a 1,200 sq. ft., three story wood frame row house, converting it from a two family residence to a single family for a young family of three. It also adds a two story, 350 sq, ft. rear yard addition. The addition includes a “split level ranch” living room that opens to both the kitchen above and the study below. Its 14 ft. ceilings and glass rear wall creates a very open, modern and spacious interior out of what was originally a number of small, cramped, low-ceilinged spaces.
Green features include added insulation at walls and ceiling, high performance condensation boiler and all natural, low-VOC interior finishes.
