45 Windsor Place. Brooklyn, NY.

This project is a complete renovation of a 2,000 sq. Ft., three story wood framed row house for a family of three.

The design removes several interior walls to convert a number of small, dark rooms into modern, open, loft-like spaces.

To reduce environmental impact, demolition was kept to a minimum. Existing plaster walls and ceilings were skim coated and retained. Existing pine floors were salvaged on the second and third floors. Several original light fixtures were stripped of paint and rewired. Only 30 linear ft. of new walls are used.
