The Bronx Adolescent Skills Center and Family Resource Center; The Mental Health Association of NYC. Bronx, New York.

This project builds out an 8,216 sq. ft. leased office space on the third floor of a new construction, mixed-use building to house two programs for the Mental Health Association of NYC. The Adolescent Skills Center provides four classrooms and administrative and support spaces for an academic training center for young adults. The Family Resource Center provides support services for families with members who have mental health issues.

Although on a tight budget, the project incorporates a number of green features, including recycled content ceiling tiles and all VOC-free interior finishes. Multi-zone split system heat pumps provide space conditioning with individual controls to all spaces. All lights are controlled by occupancy sensors.
